A 20 member team of Alliance Bank staff and family members joined the COLOR NATION on Saturday, April 12th in Downtown Cape. We completed the 5K race while having a lot of fun and raising money for some great causes in our area.

Approximately 2,100 runners and walkers took to the streets to be sprayed with color! Along the route were several color stations in which we were covered with red, orange, yellow, purple, green and blue powder. The SEMO Cheerleaders, Cape Central Senior Class, Relay for Life, St. Andrew Youth Group, and Kappa Delta Pi did a great job spraying us with color! At the starting line, we all looked nice in our white shirts, but by the end we looked like rainbows!

After the race, there was a color bomb! All participants threw color into the air, dusting Spanish Street and the crowd with the brightly colored powder. Alliance Bank staff members were delighted to support this community event that benefited the Safe House for Women, the Discovery Playhouse, and the Howard Aslinger Foundation.
